All this talk about jail breaking. Isn't there a way to simply download free full versions of games online through the browser? We can install demos or full games through the playstation store. The playstation seems to work just like a pc, download the file and then install it. I don't know if it isn't possible to install off the browser or installing is something you have to do through the store, I haven't investigated too much into it, but I don't see why it wouldn't install off a website, unless it doesn't know where to save the file, which would just need a way to send it to a directory.

Yes you can download games directly from the ps3's browser but the problem is most places you look have the files in compressed RAR format which wouldn't do you any good. You won't find too many uncompressed PKG files out there. If you do find some, just point your browser to them and in most cases they will save to an external hard drive.
